Get to know your Ambridge Area Athletic Director: Addie Lucatorto
Addie Lucatorto joined AASD as athletic director in July 2019. As the athletic director, Mrs. Lucatorto manages the day to day operations of the high school and middle school athletic teams. Coordinating practice and game schedules, game day operations and attending sporting events takes up the majority of her time.
With a BSEd in sport and fitness and a MSEd in athletic administration, both from Bowling Green State University, Mrs. Lucatorto began her career in athletics as a certified athletic trainer. Following a stint as a graduate assistant at BGSU, Mrs. Lucatorto became the head athletic trainer/instructor at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She then took to opportunity to join the Slippery Rock University faculty as a one-year leave replacement teaching in the athletic training program. Mrs. Lucatorto then moved to Southmoreland School District as the athletic trainer.
Prior to coming to Ambridge Area, Mrs. Lucatorto spent 25 years at Robert Morris University. She was hired as the head athletic trainer/football athletic trainer. In 2000, Mrs. Lucatorto took on the additional responsibility of senior woman administrator. Mrs. Lucatorto was promoted to assistant and then associate athletic director for operations/student-athlete programming at RMU.
Mrs. Lucatorto spends her spare time enjoying time with her family. Her daughter, Rachel, attends Otterbein University.
